Sound of Freedom is expected to finish the weekend in third place despite the relentless, frantic efforts made by the atheist media to keep people from watching it. The film has already made more than $40 million in ticket sales, more than tripling its production budget. The show's amazing Fourth of July debut has seen a tremendous increase in ticket sales. The wicked multi-billion dollar child sex trafficking industry, of which the United States is its greatest consumer, is now coming to the attention of the movie-going public, as nearly 4 million advance tickets had been sold online as of Monday morning. “As with our July 4th numbers, today’s numbers exceed our expectations, and we’re going to continue this momentum,” said Brandon Purdie, head of theatrical distribution at Angel Studios. The film is based on the real-life story of Tim Ballard, a former government agent, who left his position to save a little girl from sex traffickers in the jungles of Colombia. Tim ultimately prevented 123 individuals, 55 of them were children, from dying on one mission. Since then, Ballard and Operation Underground Railroad, his organization, have saved thousands of kids. “Sound of Freedom has taken on a life of its own. The Washington Post and The Guardian both made an effort to discredit the film by implying a connection to the QAnon movement. Similarly, CNN broadcast a QAnon-based review of the film in an effort to discourage audiences from learning more about the horrifying child sex industry. Sound of Freedom enjoys an A+ rating from CinemaScore, and a 76/99 audience rating at Rotten Tomatoes, beating out Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which received just 69/88 score. “We’re deeply grateful to AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and all our theater partners – and their hard-working theatre staff members – for working with us to accommodate the surging demand for this film and having the courage to release Sound of Freedom during the busiest movie season of the year,” noted Angel Studios distribution executive Purdie.
