A história se passa em um mundo povoado por seres humanos e por seres divinos denominados seraphins. Estes últimos, que são invisíveis para a maioria dos seres humanos têm a capacidade de conceder bênçãos para as cidades e aldeias e são reverenciados como deuses. No entanto, com o passar das gerações, alguns seraphins perderam a fé na humanidade e os abandonaram, deixando que as trevas se aproximassem. Sorey, um garoto humano criado por seraphins, chega um dia no mundo humano e descobre que tudo é muito diferente de sua aldeia original.
