Songleap is a tortoiseshell she-cat. Songkit is a WindClan kit, and the daughter of Oatclaw and Featherpelt alongside her littermates, Flutterkit and Whistlekit. Songpaw is now an apprentice with Crouchfoot as her mentor. While on her way to WindClan to fetch Kestrelflight, Bristlefrost runs into Breezepelt, Crouchfoot, and Songpaw at the border. As Bristlefrost explains that Squirrelflight was kidnapped into the Dark Forest, Songpaw and Crouchfoot listen in with wide eyes, and lead Bristlefrost
