The beautiful vampire Nitara was one of the many Outworld Champions brought together by Shang Tsung to prevent Earthrealm's participation in the upcoming Mortal Kombat Tournament. She, alongside Shang Tsung, Sub-Zero, Mileena, Kabal, and General Reiko stormed Raiden's Temple to eliminate them after the barrier that protected the Temple was sabotage
