The Pod Mod , an evolution of the original Pod, is designed to be ridden even shorter and wider, offering the surfer a bit more volume to improve their ride on the wave without sacrificing board performance. The tail has been made a little wider, thus improving speed in small waves and the double concave single has been changed to a 'V' shaped concave to favor the rail-to-rail transitions of the board.
