Jul 1, 2015 - Description A watercolor and colored pencils illustration for the Children of Hurin, Silmarillion. Tolkien. I found a reference drawing for artists for Nienor's pose, and my version of Glaurung is inspired by several sketches of dragons and also a LITTLE bit of the dragon from the Merlin series too, Kilgharrah. P.S I drew the dragon's claw but wasn't pleased, and so I covered it in Photoshop.
